Technical Support Agent – “TAgent”

Due to the growth of our staff and future expansion of various departments, we are in need of a highly dedicated, reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable team member to join our Customer Happiness Department in the role of Technical Agent, or, as we like to call it, “TAgent”.

We are looking for a full time team member who will support our Customer Happiness Team by creating, maintaining, modifying and troubleshooting system credentials. This is a time-sensitive, information-sensitive and crucial support role to the Customer Happiness Team. The perfect candidate not only has the technical expertise required, but also understands the importance of performing the related duties in a very quick, efficient, correct and ethical manner with minimal downtime being a vital factor.

General Requirements

• Excellent use of the English language, both spoken and written
• Experience with e-mail communication in a professional setting
• Preferred experience in telephone based sales
• Preferred experience with internet based e-mail helpdesk and CRM Software
• Broadband high speed internet (DSL/Cable/anything besides satellite)- 100% dependable and trustworthy. 
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Self-motivation
• Problem solving abilities in a fast-paced environment

Technical Requirements

  5. Have you ever been entrusted with the ability to manage user logins and passwords, as well as troubleshooting issues with systems? If so, please explain the scope of the work you have done, including the number of users you were responsible for supporting.

  7. Please list the most up-to-date versions of Adobe Flash and Java that are installed on your computer.
  8. What internet browser do you use? Please include the version number.
  9. What type of internet connection do you use, and who is the provider? (i.e., cable, DSL, satellite, FIOS)
  10. Do you have the ability to be hard-wired into your modem and/or router without the use of Wi-Fi?  (Wi-Fi connections are NOT allowed for our VoIP requirements.)
  11. What brand is the router that you use?
